Collaborative Office, finally

Phew, the next version of Microsoft Office (version 14) adds real time collaboration.  I’ve been waiting for this for some time.  This is the most exciting news from Microsoft in recent years and provides a great opportunity for fast moving teams to work much more productively.

Hopefully we’ll be able to do things like fully integrated budgeting on Excel with Xero.

I just hope MacOffice isn’t too far behind.  I don’t think I’d be able to wait a year knowing it was available on Windows.
