We’re thrilled to announce a winner: Mark Fairey is the lucky Xero customer who won the Bejing 2008 Olympic Games competition we put on in collaboration with Visa and the BNZ.

The prize includes return tickets for two to Beijing, plus accommodation, plus lunch in Beijing with Olympic gold medalist (and Relationship Manager for Xero) Hamish Carter!

Mark is an early Xero customer, signing up his first organisation to Xero in April 2007. It turns out Mark also has a rich Olympic family history. His grandfather, Stan Lay, was an Olympic and Empire Games javelin thrower, participating in the 1928 Olympics in Amsterdam. As fate would have it, Mark’s other grandfather was an accountant.
