Xero: the breakfast of champions

Lots of excitement here today about Hamish Carter joining the Xero Team. Hamish is a New Zealand icon who has achieved phenomenal success on the international stage – including four years as the world’s number one triathlete, and a Gold Medal at the 2004 Athens Olympics. Hamish announced his retirement last night, and talked about why he’s moving to Xero.

Hamish starts as our relationship manager in April. I’ve met Hamish a number of times now, and it’s easy to understand why he’s so popular with his fans. He’s super down to earth and he’s never shirked from a challenge, as the New Zealand Herald points out today. My prediction is Hamish’s arrival results in positive body shape changes for the Xero Team!

So it’s been another busy week here at Xero. This Computerworld article earlier in the week discussed some of our operational movements. And in case you haven’t checked it out, Xero was profiled in the latest edition of Idealog magazine.

We’re fired up about making small and medium sized businesses more successful and easier to manage.
