Xerocon 2018 Golden Ticket Competition Terms and Conditions
The Xerocon 2018 Golden Ticket Competition (Promotion) is conducted by Xero Australia Pty Limited ABN 89 124 215 247 (Xero), and is open from 12 October 2017 until midnight (AEST) on 30 November 2017 (the Promotion Period). Xero may, at its sole discretion, extend the Promotion Period.
To be eligible to enter the Promotion (Eligible Partner Entrant), entrants must:
be a certified Australian Xero accounting or bookkeeping partner which is located in Australia prior to, and during, the Promotion Period which falls into one of the categories set out in paragraph 6 below.;
have received Xero’s promotional email, pdf or a communication directly or from their Xero Account Manager for this competition; and
create at least one (1) new Xero Business Edition (starter, standard or premium) organisation subscription during the Promotion Period.
To register to participate in the Promotion, an authorised member of staff of the Eligible Partner Entrant must complete the “Register for your chance to win” form on Xero’s landing page for the Promotion during the Promotion Period, and by completing that form the Eligible Partner Entrant will be deemed to have registered as a participant in the Promotion (Participant) and have accepted these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
For the purposes of the Promotion, an “Eligible Partner Entrant” will be the Xero Partner Firm who owns the Xero billing account.
Xero’s decisions on all matters relating to the Promotion (including eligibility of entrants, registration of Participants, and determination of winners) will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
There will be three (3) winners in total as determined by Xero, made up of one (1) winner from each of the following categories being the Participant in that category which has added the highest number of net new Xero Business Edition organisation subscriptions during the Promotion Period (each a Winner and together the Winners).
Sole practitioners (one person trading as an individual)
One partner firms (any practice with only one partner)
Two+ partner firms (any practice with two or more partners)
In the event of a tie in any category, the Participant with the highest number of organisations signed up to Xero’s Premium pricing plan (as described at https://www.xero.com/au/pricing/) added during the Promotion Period as determined by Xero will be awarded the prize.
Each Winner will receive one single ticket permitting free entrance to one (1) individual to Xerocon Brisbane in 2018 (each a Prize and together the Prizes). The Prizes are not redeemable for cash and are not transferrable.
The prize does not include flights (or other travel) to or from the event or any accommodation. All incidental costs associated with the Winners’ receiving or making use of the Prizes (including transport, accommodation, insurance, etc.), or any associated tax consequences are the responsibility of the Winners. Xero gives no warranties, representations or advice in respect of any of the above.
Xero employees are not eligible to enter the draw.
The Winners will be notified by Xero within 30 days after the end of the Promotion Period and will be advised as to how their Prize will be made available to them. If a Winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 30 days from the date on which Xero first notifies them, Xero reserves the right to withdraw the Prize (in which case the Winner will be deemed to have forfeited the Prize) and to award it to the Participant in the same category which has the next highest number of new Xero Business Edition organisation subscriptions added during the Promotion Period, as determined by Xero. That awarded Participant will then be a Winner for the purposes of these Terms and Conditions.
By registering as a Participant in the Promotion, you consent to the use of your name, image and brand for Xero’s promotional use.
To the extent permitted by law, Xero and its affiliated companies shall not be liable in any way (including, without limitation, in negligence), for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including, without limitation, direct, indirect or consequential loss) or for any loss or damage or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the promotion.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
