Learn on the job with Xero and find out how your career can flourish
Learn on the job with the Xero Grad and Vacation programs and find out how your career can flourish.
We know what it takes to help you do the best work of your life and we’ll invest in you to help you get there.
You'll start with a close knit group giving you instant connections around the business. We’ll hook you up with a buddy and you’ll work closely with your manager to plan your experience.
We’ll help you develop your technical skills and your people skills, so whether you know how you want your career to develop or you want to explore your options, we’ll help you get there.
The Vacation program focus is on people who are in their penultimate year of study; so there is a preference for those completing their studies next year. However, we may occasionally list a graduate role - final year students should apply for these roles.

Yes, we are always focussed on getting the right person, regardless of where they are from.
Our vacation roles are 10 weeks long over the summer break from November to February.
Of course it is :-)
This depends on you! If you’ve enjoyed working with us and done well in your role, you can be offered a job at Xero for our graduate program, which will be awaiting you after you finish your studies.
The Xero Vacation program is for people who are still finishing their qualification and who are just starting their career journey. You may have some part-time work experience, that’s awesome, but if you have a couple of years under your belt then you may be better suited to a junior or intermediate role, so keep an eye on our careers page.
Still got a question?
