A day in the office for MedRecruit's Managing Director Sam Hazledine can be on the slopes, on the beach or just on the run.
Xero's mobility means Sam can access his accounts and essentially run his business from anywhere.
Sam is the mastermind behind MedRecruit, a website joining doctors with hospitals in New Zealand and overseas. So far they have 200 registered doctors; 23 placed doctors; and 12 partnered hospitals.
MedRecruit's success comes from their emphasis on doctors' lifestyles. It's a point of difference Sam lives and breathes.
As Sam is the face of MedRecruit he needs to spend a lot of time outside of the office - obviously desktop-only accounting packages are limiting on Sam and the business.

This winter Sam, 2003 New Zealand Freeski Champion, is planning on working while on his lunch breaks at Whakapapa. No, Sam isn't a part time lifty; he'll be skiing, and working in the cafe over lunch.
