Xero Cashbook
Xero Cashbook is ideal for businesses that don't have a need for accrual accounting. Xero Cashbook is only available through you, the accountant, as part of the services you offer.
Xero Cashbook has two roles to meet the level of help clients need.
- The Managed Client role gives clients access to add comments on bank transactions, which you can then code. This way they can get familiar with accounting, without having to learn all aspects, and it’s perfect for ‘shoebox’ clients.
- The Cashbook Client role provides more functionality. The client can easily code transactions and prepare cash based sales tax reports. This is ideal for clients using installed cashbook software or Excel spreadsheets.
In both cases you have complete control over the accounting functions and you can review and correct the clients’ data at any stage. You and your team still have access to all the functions in Xero.
Xero Practice Ledger
Xero Practice Ledger is a version of Xero designed just for you. It lets you manage the financial details of your practice so it is kept confidential and gives you the tools to maintain your own accounting records, including simple bank reconciliation, debtor and creditor management and comprehensive reporting. Xero Practice Ledger is included in Xero Partner Edition.
