  • Complete the form with the details of any accounts you want to receive feeds for
  • Send the form to: Xero, Bank House, 171 Midsummer Boulevard, Milton Keynes, MK9 1EB

Is this feed for just the commercial and corporate still… Or has the feed been expanded to online business banks… As per the Xero guides sent out a while ago, the feed was only planned for the corporate and commercial bank accounts

Kind regards

Hi Stephen. Yes, Santander bank feeds are only for Corporate and Commercial bank accounts at this stage. Cheers.

We appear to have our Santander Feed up and running for the current account -but the deposit account does not appear to have been set up!

The feed does not appear that useful as it only shows a faster payment incoming receipt detailing the name of the receiving account – no indication of who the sender is. So far not that useful. Are there developments in hand to address this issue?

Hi Anne. The Santander feeds are available for accounts with the following sort codes: 090222, 090715, 090720 through to 090727, and 091810.

If the deposit account is covered by one of the sort codes above and was included in your application form, please contact the customer experience team at bankfeed.support@xero.com who will investigate further.

We’re aware that for some transactions, the sender information is not included and we’re currently working with the team from Santander to improve this situation. We would hope to have completed this work in the next couple of weeks and this update will happen automatically.

Hi Ashley, has the update to the Santander feed, so that a full description is included, happened yet? Thanks

Hi Nick, Santander has told us they’ll make this data available in early 2016. Once available we’ll make the necessary changes so customers can obtain the narrative information they require to help while reconciling. Cheers

Hi Ashley,
We are having problems with Santander bank feed where there is a cheque payment it will say due cheque ending and also when the client makes any card payment it just says card payment and no details are been provided.
Please let me know what is the best option. I currently ask client to send the PDF copies as well and I have to go through the bank statement to allocated the transaction. This is very time consuming.
Thanks Dhara

A couple of questions about Santander bank feeds:
1. What UK time are the feeds from Santander?
2. Does the feed activity show as a login and transaction search on the business bank account activity log?

Hi John, direct feeds for Santander come in by 9am UK time. Feed activity doesn’t show as the feed comes direct from the bank and there’s no need to log in like with Yodlee feeds. Only certain bank types are supported if you do decide to go with direct feeds, but you can take a look at further info in our Help Centre. Accounts with sort codes accepted include: 090222, 090715, 090720 through to 090727, and 091810. Hope this helps!

Thank you. As a follow up question: Is there only 1 feed each day or can there be more than one in a day?

Hi John, there’s only one feed a day with direct feeds and you’re not able to refresh. You can refresh with Yodlee feeds.

Is there any plan to expand the Santander Direct Feed to include 09 01 XX sort codes…?

Hi Karen, we are speaking to Santander among other banks about increasing the coverage of direct bank feeds. There’s nothing firm to report at the moment, but we will be sure to update as we make progress.
