Take the Software Satisfaction Awards Survey

We’ve participated in AccountingWEB’s annual Software Satisfaction Awards programme for the last four years. Last year we came out top in the practice software category!

Xero award – Software Satisfaction Awards 2012

In one sense public surveys like this recall a time before today’s multi-channel communication world existed. This was when an annual temperature gauge was all businesses had to go on. And to that extent they’re a little pedestrian.

Today we’re just bombarded with live customer feedback from all angles. Some of it is structured and quantified, but a lot of it is anecdotal or from narrow, individual perspectives. You can see people sharing their opinions on Xero Community or public platforms like Twitter. As a result, we’re pretty clear on what our customers think about Xero. We know where we’re winning, and where we need to tune up.

But what good old-fashioned public surveys like Software Satisfaction provide is a valuable, structured benchmark that compares Xero with other software companies. The Software Satisfaction Awards survey is an opportunity to share your experiences of the software you use.

Shame – Great work for half the year, all undone by changing the email system. Now all our invoices come from a Xero email address and Xero gets all the failure emails so we don’t know when invoices don’t arrive.
It makes us look like amateurs and we don’t even know when invoices aren’t delivered.

Andy, I have to agree with you – using Xero’s mail server strips out a significant part of our branding strategy, as well as us never seeing email bounces.

We should be able to set up what mail server and reply email address we use.

Nice survey. I have a suggestion though. Try SoGoSurvey’s online survey software. Online surveys look so much better when created on their advanced survey tool.
