As we get deeper into the era of cloud enabled software it’s interesting to see new categories of service emerge which build on the ubiquity of internet connectivity and mobile.
One such area is mobile expenses management and last month I stopped by the London offices of ExpenseMagic, a popular smartphone & cloud expenses app developer that’s just finalised their integration with Xero as an Add-on Partner. ExpenseMagic’s Xero integration is available today in the UK and the US, with Australia and New Zealand their next targets.
While basic mobile expenses capture is pretty common – (we even have our own capability in Xero Touch) – ExpenseMagic takes it a stage further by processing the captured receipt images and uploading them automatically as completed expense lines, negating the need for customers to do any of the manual data entry.
