Getting ready for Jam Off 2011
Down here in New Zealand we’re in the middle of our summer holidays and that means it’s time to make jam while berries are in season. Those following Xero for a while will know our CTO Craig has become a bit of jam maker the last few years and ended up in a bit of a ‘jam off’ competition last year.
This year it’s even bigger – taking place at Craft 2.0 at the Dowse Art Museum in April and it has an official website – jamoff.co.nz. I’ve just posted about Craig’s jam-making adventures in Awakeri over on their blog.
Eager to get some early feedback (not like when he’s coding!!) he’s shared a couple of little pots of jam with a select few already … these people chosen by some mysterious criteria only known to him (a bit like his coding!). He’s excited that the couple of comments he’s received are lining him up for a win this year!
